Made as a gift to his wife, Helge Sibast designed this side table in the late 1950s. The exact origin and design year is not certain since it was only produced to fit his private home and never sold to the public.
The side tables are characterized by the different glass or marble plates in the center of the table top. Originally made with black colored glass plate, but today also available with white marble.
Being able to combine the sustainable design from the late 1950s with the contemporary trend of using marble and brass as materials makes a unique and beautiful coherence, and is in essence what Danish Modern is about.
